Yes, OurDream is a legitimate service run by an identifiable company, and our Premium monthly plan has been billed without any trouble so far. That said, "safe" covers several questions: who you are paying, what happens to your chats, what shows up on your bank statement, and whether the site in your browser is the real one. The last point is where most risk lies.

Who is behind OurDream
The Terms of Service name Dream Studio USA, Inc., described as a Delaware corporation, as the operator of ourdream.ai and ourdream.io. The refund and prohibited content policies list two more entities under the "Dream Studio" label: Dream Studio LLC and Tektopia Ltd. The postal address given is 1111B S Governors Ave STE 28684, Dover, DE 19904, and disputes fall under Delaware law.
Contacts are public: support@ourdream.ai for accounts and billing, trust@ourdream.ai for privacy, legal and abuse. The Help desk also points to a Discord server it says gathers more than 60,000 members.
Age rules
Signing up includes an attestation that you are 18 or older. Where the law requires it, the privacy policy says age is verified by a third-party age assurance provider, and OurDream only receives the outcome. If the company finds that someone under 18 has an account, the policy says the account is closed. The Safety Center has a dedicated age verification page, introduced as how OurDream keeps the platform 18+ "on both ends".
Privacy: what the policy promises
- Encryption. The privacy policy (last modified 26 August 2026) states that user data is encrypted at rest and in transit, citing AES and TLS 1.3, on a hosting platform with SOC 2 Type 2 certification.
- No sale of chats. The Trust & Safety Center lists "We do not sell your chats" among its commitments.
- Moderation can read flagged content. Conversations are "generally confidential", but content flagged by the filter may be reviewed by staff.
- Model training. The policy lists improving the service, including training AI models, among the uses of your information.
- Analytics and Do Not Track. Google Analytics and similar tools are used, and the policy says OurDream does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
The policy also admits no transmission is ever fully secure. That sentence appears in almost every privacy policy; it is still worth keeping in mind before you type your real name into a chat.
Payments and your bank statement
The Buy Dreamcoins page offers card, other payment methods and crypto (crypto is billed in USD). The subscription page mentions Apple Pay and Google Pay updating replacement cards automatically. PayPal is not accepted, per the help center, and coin codes sold on G2A are offered as a fallback when a payment fails.
Two practical notes. Crypto payments are final and non-refundable under the refund policy (the other rules sit in our cancellation and refund guide). And annual plans are charged once: the help center explains that a charge of 119.88 USD is the full year at 9.99 USD a month. What we could not confirm is the merchant name printed on card statements: the official pages do not state it, so check your bank app after the first payment if discretion matters to you.
Fake sites and look-alike domains
The Terms of Service cover exactly two websites: ourdream.ai and ourdream.io. On 20 October 2026 we visited a list of similar domains. We do not know who runs them and we accuse no one; we only report what loaded.

Safe-use checklist
- Type the address yourself or use a bookmark; check for ourdream.ai before entering your e-mail.
- Keep real names, addresses and employer details out of chats and especially out of Public characters (the privacy policy says popular Public characters may be kept even after you delete your account).
- Prefer a card if you might need a refund; crypto cannot be refunded.
- Contact support before any chargeback: the refund policy warns it can lead to account suspension.
